The Illusion of a Free Market

My rich dad taught me the difference between assets and liabilities. He taught me to see how systems really work.

Our food system is not a free market. It’s not capitalism. It’s a machine. 

A machine engineered by the government and run for the benefit of a few massive corporations.

It runs on your money.

Second, they subsidize the industry that processes it. Corn syrup. Seed oils. Additives you can’t even pronounce.

Third, they subsidize the customers buying it. SNAP benefits paying for soda and processed snacks.

Finally, they subsidize the consequences. The healthcare you need for obesity, diabetes, and the diseases that follow.

They subsidize the poison. Then they subsidize the medicine.

You pay for all of it. It’s a system of dependency. It makes you a liability.

The Farmer's Trap

They tell you farmers are getting rich on subsidies. That’s a lie.

Most farmers I know are trapped. They work second jobs just to stay on their own land. They’re 

subsidizing the system with their own sweat and debt.

I heard about a dairy farmer who won the lottery. Someone asked what he’d do with the money.

He said, “I’ll keep farming until it runs out.”

He wasn’t joking.

This isn’t capitalism. It’s agricultural indentured servitude. 

The regulations aren’t about safety. They’re about control. They’re designed to crush the small guy and protect the giants.

Your Only Way Out

The government is not going to protect your health. It never has.

If it did, soda wouldn’t be cheaper than water. If it did, ingredients banned in Europe wouldn’t be in our baby food.

The solution isn’t more government. It’s not more rules.

The solution is choice. Your choice.
