The Tariff Wall Is Back

Trump taxed 99% of US imports three days ago. The Fed meets tomorrow. Gold at $4,052 is not a coincidence.

Dear Reader,

The Supreme Court struck down Trump's tariffs in February. A federal court struck them down again in May. Three days ago, he hit 60 countries with a brand new set.

This one covers 99% of everything America imports. They call it a "forced labor" enforcement action. I call it the biggest hidden tax in American history.

Inside today's issue:

Here is what actually happened last Thursday.

Trump's original reciprocal tariffs: struck down by the Supreme Court in February 2026. His replacement 10% global tariff under Section 122: struck down by a federal court in May. So on July 23rd, he signed a new executive memorandum invoking Section 301 of the 1974 Trade Act. USTR investigations concluded that 60 of America's trading partners fail to ban imports made with forced labor. New tariffs of 10% to 12.5% took effect at 12:01 a.m. on July 24th.

That covers Argentina. Bangladesh. Britain. Canada. China. The European Union. India. Mexico. Sixty countries. Ninety-nine point four percent of US imports.

The press calls this a "trade policy." I call it a tax. You did not vote for it. Congress did not pass it. One man's executive memorandum just raised the cost of nearly everything you buy.

Now. Here is the number that stopped me cold this morning. The national debt just crossed $39 trillion. The FY2026 deficit is already $1.4 trillion with three months left in the fiscal year. And the Fed meets tomorrow, July 28th and 29th, with its committee split on whether to hike rates or hold.

I want to show you exactly what this means for your purchasing power. But first, you need to see this:

Silver Is 52% Off.
Robert Kiyosaki Is Buying.

$118 → $56. Silver just crashed in half.

The headlines are brutal. The amateurs are selling.
The weak hands are running.

Robert's doing the opposite. He just announced to 443,000 followers:
"I bought more gold and silver."

One NYSE-listed streaming stock could turn this crash into 3X-5X gains.

Now. About that $39 trillion.

Three rounds of tariffs in five months. Every time the courts stop them, the administration finds another law, another angle, another mechanism. I am not arguing the politics. I am looking at the economics.

TARIFFS ARE A TAX ON CONSUMERS. That is not my opinion. That is what every economist from Milton Friedman to Janet Yellen agrees on. You pay 10 to 12.5 percent more for goods from 99% of the countries we trade with. That is inflation by another name. And inflation erodes the dollar.

Meanwhile, the Fed meets tomorrow with inflation still at 3.5% year-over-year. Their target is 2%. They are 75% above it. Their own policymakers are now publicly debating rate hikes. Markets have priced in roughly a 10% chance they hike this week. The committee is split.

Gold knows. Gold is at $4,052 per ounce. Silver is at $58 per ounce. These are not random numbers. The market is telling you something that Washington will not say out loud: the dollar is losing the game.

I have been saying this for 30 years. My rich dad taught me one thing that matters: governments do not go broke, they print. When they cannot print, they tax. When they cannot tax openly, they add 12.5% to imports and call it "forced labor enforcement."

The question is never IF. The question is always WHEN. And WHAT you did about it before WHEN arrived.

Silver at $58 is not the ceiling. Gold at $4,052 is not the ceiling. The ceiling is wherever Washington runs out of room. They have not run out of room yet. But the debt clock does not lie.

To your freedom,

Robert Kiyosaki
