America went to the polls this week. They voted for change.

But the debt clock on the wall did not stop for a single minute. The government lost $186 billion to fraud. The interest bill on the national debt just topped $1 trillion -- bigger than the entire defense budget -- for the first time in American history. And while everyone watched the vote counts roll in, the AI machine quietly filed its $2 trillion IPO, built on the backs of 180,000 people it already fired this year.

The party changed. The bill did not.

THIS WEEK

Monday, November 2 -- Election Eve. The country was 24 hours from voting. The backdrop never changes: $40 trillion in debt, a dollar that has lost 97% of its purchasing power since the Federal Reserve was created, and a government that has misplaced $3 trillion since 2003. Five presidents. Dozens of Congresses. The same trajectory every single year.

Tuesday, November 3 -- Election Day. Americans voted. The same day, the GAO confirmed $186 billion in improper payments in fiscal year 2025. That is up $24 billion from the year before -- not down. DOGE promised $2 trillion in cuts. Then $1 trillion. Then $150 billion. Then it shut down in July 2026. Federal spending kept rising. Your share of the national debt: $120,291. The vote did not change that number by one dollar.

Wednesday, November 4 -- The Machine Goes Public. Anthropic, the company behind Claude AI, kicked off its Wall Street roadshow targeting a valuation of $1.5 to $2 trillion. Revenue: $16.3 billion in the first six months of 2026 alone -- 14x higher than a year ago. Meanwhile, 180,000 Americans received pink slips this year with "AI restructuring" in the termination letter. Four times more than 2024. The workers do not get shares. The founders become billionaires. This is not new. I have been writing about this dynamic for 30 years.

Thursday, November 5 -- The Bill Nobody Can Pay. The U.S. Treasury published final numbers for fiscal year 2026. Interest payments on the national debt: $1.1 trillion. Not roads. Not soldiers. Pure interest -- money paid to bondholders for the privilege of borrowing more money the government does not have. For the first time in American history, the interest bill is larger than the entire defense budget of $886 billion. The FY2026 deficit: $2 trillion. National debt: $40.37 trillion. Growing by $5 billion every single day.

Friday, November 6 -- The Blue Wave. Democrats swept the House and Senate. The headlines call it a historic mandate. Elon Musk spent more than $250 million on Republican candidates and lost. Here is the number that did not change: $3.2 billion. That is what the federal government spends in interest every single day, no matter who controls Congress. The spending machine runs regardless of which party's hand is on the lever. The dollar does not care about your vote.

WHAT THEY'RE NOT TELLING YOU

1. The federal government lost $186 billion in a single year -- and the number is growing. The GAO confirmed improper payments of $186 billion for FY2025, up $24 billion from the year before. Total since 2003: $3 trillion. Five presidents, dozens of Congresses, both parties. Every single year, the fraud increases. (Source: GAO Report GAO-26-108694, April 2026)

2. For the first time ever, America's interest bill is larger than its entire defense budget. Treasury's FY2026 final statement shows $1.1 trillion in interest payments, surpassing the Pentagon's $886 billion budget. Only Social Security and Medicare are larger. The empire is now paying more to service old debt than it spends protecting itself. (Source: American Action Forum, analyzing U.S. Treasury FY2026 Final Statement, October 2026)

3. Anthropic is going public at $2 trillion while carrying $518 billion in non-cancellable commitments the bankers don't want you to focus on. That is roughly 32 years of its current revenue run rate in fixed obligations. The roadshow begins November 9. If AI adoption slows at all, the retail investors who buy the IPO will have company in the loss column -- right alongside the 180,000 workers already displaced. (Source: Anthropic S-1 filing, November 2026)

ROBERT'S TAKE

This week told you everything about how empires end. Not with a bang. With a spreadsheet. While America argued about who controls Congress, the Treasury quietly confirmed that the country now pays more to service its debt than it spends on its entire military. That is not a warning. That is a diagnosis. The patient is already in the chair.

I have been saying for 30 years that you cannot vote your way out of a debt spiral. Rome tried. The Roman Senate held elections right up until the currency collapsed. The coin kept getting debased. The senators kept getting paid. The citizens kept getting poorer. What you watched Tuesday is the same movie in modern clothes. The cast changed. The script did not. The government that lost $3 trillion since 2003 is the same government asking for two more years. It got them.

The AI story is the same dynamic in a different sector. Anthropic goes public at $2 trillion while 180,000 workers file unemployment. The owners of the technology get rich. The workers displaced by the technology get a pink slip. I wrote about this in Rich Dad Poor Dad -- the difference between the E quadrant and the B quadrant. This week made it official at a $2 trillion scale. The question is not whether this is happening. The question is which side of that trade you are on.

Here is what to watch: the Anthropic IPO roadshow starts November 9. Watch how fast retail investors pile in at a $2 trillion valuation while insiders who built it on cheap money prepare to exit. That pattern has played out in every bubble I have ever watched -- railroads, dot-com, housing. The insiders cash out at the top. The public holds the bag. Meanwhile, gold and silver don't care who controls Congress. Real assets never do. That is not a coincidence. That is 5,000 years of monetary history.

Did Elon Musk Just Open America's Last Retirement Window?

Image

Jeff Brown believes Elon Musk's new AI breakthrough will collide with a market prophecy that has correctly predicted the biggest market booms since 1950 -- giving Americans a rare chance to turn a small stake into a six-figure nest egg in 12-18 months. The last time this happened, investors had a chance to turn $10,000 into $366,000 in just 14 months.

Click here to see the details -- because the last time this happened, everyday folks had a chance to turn $10,000 into as much as $350,000 in just about 12 months.

P.S. Politicians can’t legislate your way to financial security, but owning the assets that move the physical economy can.

Before I joined the Marines, I worked on oil tankers for Standard Oil. I learned about charter rates and chokepoints from the deck.

So when Iran closed Hormuz, the first thing I checked was shipping rates.

Here’s what I found: tankers that earned $21,000 a day before the war are now earning $51,870. Their breakeven is $10,800.

One just doubled its quarterly payout.

I added this tanker to the Perpetual Income Plan, along with four other positions the war handed me. P.I.P. now pays out 74 times a year at a blended 10% yield.

Watch the short video to see all five.

P.P.S. By the way, when you click here, I’ll explain why I say “profitable” isn’t even the right word for what these tanker operators are earning right now. $51,870 a day. Breakeven: $10,800.
